This international organization is a key part of myself and my social volunteering experience as it encourages young people to join campaigns with the purpose of supporting those without housing.
The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition where teams of students collaborate to design, build, and program industrial-sized robots. These robots compete in a themed head-to-head challenge, all while promoting STEM.
The Salvation Army is a nonprofit organization that fights
poverty and homelessness. The main goal is giving people a hand up when
they're down.
I personally was involved in repeated occasions as a volunteer in charge of
distributing the basic meal for those who are in need. This activity took place in
Chula Vista, California during the 2024 summer break.
I was honored to be able to attend to the academic gala on Tec de Monterrey due to my outstanding GPA, locating myself on the top 10 on my Bicultural generation.
Being part of my desire of learning more each day, I am constanly challenging myself on doing new personal proyects such as this web page which I programmed in JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
During my 3rd semester, I had the oportunity to present my spanish class speech as I was chosen other 10 students from all over our generation. As part of my pasion to technology and engineering, I decided to talk about Artificial Intelligence being the title "The Artificial Intelligence: A Tool with the Power of Change".
I participated on the Model of the United Nations as the delegate of Ukraine on the UN Women committee. As part of my excelent participation, I was congratulated with an honorific mention among the other delegates on my committee. Now, I am part of the general assembly chair for the 2024 MUN.
During my first semester, I was able to learn how to play the drums and feel an artistic and musical side of myself. As part of the experience, at the end of that semester, I presented the song 'Living on a Prayer' at a cultural exhibition. I am happy to state that up to the date, I still have the habit and discipline of playing the drums as a hobby.
